Proposal and Investigation of a New Tower Solar Collector-Based Trigeneration Energy System

These days, the low efficiency of solar-based thermal power plants results in uneconomical performance and high-cost uncompetitive industries compared with conventional fossil fuels. In order to overcome such issues, a novel combined cooling–power–heating (trigeneration) system is proposed analyzed this paper. This uses an ammonia–water binary mixture as working fluid solar heat source produce diverse types energy for multi-unit building sustainable fashion. addition basic cooling–power cogeneration cycle, flashing chamber that will boost flow rate refrigerant without any additional supply employed. By developing mathematical model, using varying parameters irradiation, hot oil temperature, process pressure, ambient temperature investigate influence on electrical power, cooling capacity, refrigeration exergy, utilization factor (EUF), exergy efficiency. Increasing direct normal irradiation (DNI) from 500 W/m2 1000 reduces EUF 53.62% 43.12% 49.02% 25.65%, respectively. Both increase increasing DNI while heating remains constant. It demonstrated 100% supplied, 46.03% converted into energetic output 53.97% recorded loss. The supplied distributed 8.34% produced 29.78% loss, remaining 61.88% destructed exergy. highest destruction (56.89%) occurs central receiver.
